Ortho coverage works differently from your regular dental benefits. Here’s what to know — and what we take off your plate.

A lifetime orthodontic maximum

Most plans with ortho coverage pay a one-time lifetime benefit per person — commonly $1,000 to $2,500 — separate from your annual dental maximum. It’s usually paid in installments over the course of treatment.

We file every claim

Our insurance team submits your claims, tracks payments and makes the follow-up calls. Your benefits are credited straight to your account, lowering what you owe each month.

Insurance & payment FAQ

Does dental insurance cover braces and Invisalign®?

Many plans do. Orthodontic benefits usually apply to braces and clear aligners alike, typically as a lifetime maximum per person — and some plans have an age limit. We’ll verify your coverage for free before your consultation.

What if I don’t have orthodontic insurance?

You still have great options: a 5% courtesy discount when you pay in full, 0% in-house monthly plans from $99/mo with $0 down options, and third-party financing for longer terms.

Can I use two insurance plans?

Yes. If you’re covered by two plans — for example, through both parents’ employers — we’ll coordinate benefits and bill both, which can noticeably lower your out-of-pocket cost.

What happens if I change jobs or insurance during treatment?

Let us know as soon as you can. We’ll verify your new plan and update your account. Because orthodontic benefits are usually paid in installments, a new plan may cover part of your remaining balance.

Can I pay off my plan early?

Absolutely — there are never prepayment penalties. Pay extra anytime in the app, by phone or at your clinic. If your budget changes, call our billing team at (214) 555-0147 and we’ll work with you to adjust your plan.
