These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of orthivaro.space, its Spanish-language version and the online forms and content we provide (the “Website”), operated by Orthivaro Orthodontics and its affiliated practices (“Orthivaro,” “we” or “us”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
Content on the Website — including Smile Journal articles, treatment descriptions, FAQs and videos — is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not medical or dental advice and is not a substitute for an examination, diagnosis or treatment by a licensed orthodontist or dentist. Browsing the Website, submitting a form or exchanging messages with us does not create a doctor–patient relationship; that relationship begins only after an evaluation by an Orthivaro orthodontist.
If you have a medical or dental emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For urgent orthodontic problems, such as a broken appliance or a poking wire, call your clinic.
Every patient is different. Treatment time, results and comfort depend on factors such as your bite, age and oral health, and on how closely you follow your orthodontist’s instructions — for example, wearing aligners 20–22 hours a day and wearing your retainer as prescribed. Patient photos, reviews and testimonials on the Website reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee that you will achieve similar results.
Prices, payment plans (such as plans from $99 per month or $0 down options), insurance estimates and promotions shown on the Website are for general information, may vary by clinic and patient, and may change without notice. Financing is subject to eligibility. The free consultation offer applies to new patients; see your local clinic for details. Submitting an appointment request does not reserve a specific date or time until your clinic confirms it.

The patient portal is provided through the Orthivaro Anywhere app, which may be subject to additional terms shown in the app. You are responsible for keeping your device, passcode and verification codes secure and for activity under your account. The Website and its content — text, graphics, photos, logos, icons and software — are owned by or licensed to Orthivaro and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use, as long as you keep all copyright and other notices intact.
Orthivaro, Orthivaro Orthodontics, Orthivaro Anywhere, Smile Express, Rising Star, Smile Journal and the Orthivaro smile logo are trademarks of Orthivaro Orthodontics. Invisalign® is a registered trademark of Align Technology, Inc. Other product and company names mentioned on the Website may be trademarks of their respective owners; their use does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, those owners.
If you send us reviews, comments, photos or ideas, you grant Orthivaro a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce and display them in connection with our services, unless you ask us not to. We will never publish patient photos or identifiable health information without your written authorization. Please don’t submit anything you don’t have the right to share.
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, app stores, financing providers or social networks. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices, and you use them at your own risk.
The Website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orthivaro disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We work hard to keep information current, but we do not warrant that the Website will be error-free, uninterrupted or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orthivaro and its affiliates, doctors, team members and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and these Terms do not govern the professional care you receive as a patient.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Orthivaro from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Website.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If you keep using the Website after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.
