How long do I need to wear my retainer?

Most patients wear it full-time for a few months, then nightly. We recommend nightly wear long-term to keep results stable.

What if my retainer doesn’t fit anymore?

Call your clinic soon. Small shifts can often be corrected with a new retainer or a short aligner series.

Can you replace a retainer from another orthodontist?

Yes. We’ll scan your teeth and make a new one — no need to have been treated with us.
